Dress to Impress

Dresses are a Lady’s Favorite Accessory

Do you ever find yourself saying the following, “I’m too old, too skinny or too fat to dare wear a dress,or I don’t have killer legs!”

I’m here to help! First, no more negative thoughts and let’s focus on the dresspositive. There is a dress for every shape and size and I will cover the type of dresses that should be worn for the Office, Party, and a Wedding.

Monday morning at the office…
Smile…you don’t have to look like a rat even though you’re in the Rat Race of Life. A solid black dress would work well for the office, but it should be loose fitting and an inch above the knee. Accentuate the neckline with a necklace and add matching earrings and a bracelet. For your shoes, wear three quarter inch block heels, but absolutely no stilettos. Grab a blazer or sweater and combine with knee length leather boots (a thick heel will be just fine).

Party Dress… Lets Make Women Envious and the Men Hungry…
Lots of spandex, I mean let it rain spandex! No sleeves needed and don’t forgot knee length dresses. Bright bold dress colors that will pop, include yellow, hot pink, and bright blue. Large hoop earrings and lip-gloss (for pout effect) will compliment your outfit nicely and do wear open toed shoes with a stiletto heel.

The fabrics that should be worn to a wedding are as follows: silk, satin, or cashmere lace. Whichever fabric you select, should compliment the bridal party. Carry a shawl or sweater when wearing a  sleeveless quarter length dress. Add quarter length heels (three inches to be exact) with no open toes. For the neckline, pearls or an elegant rhinestone choker would do just fine.

Ladies, what makes a dress stand out is color, correct size, and appropriate fabric and the rest should fall into place…

This design is wicked! You certainly know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
