Virtual Makeup with GlamST

When we are out buying makeup at a store, isn’t it all guess work that it will look good on us? We pick up products, examine them, and imagine wearing that eye shadow, lipstick, or mascara. I am sure that after you bought the product, there might be a possible let down as it may not be the picture perfect color/shade you were expecting? How about we stop guessing and try “virtual” makeup with name brand products we can trust.

So how do we do this you ask? Help is on the way with GlamST! GlamST.com is a community of women who want to try different looks and products with experimentation first before buying. You can go to their website and upload your own photo or use a stock model photo to get an idea of what it will end up looking like. They have face, lips, and eyes with a multitude of options including price, brand, and color. You could probably spend all day trying many different face combinations of what works and doesn’t. You can create day, evening, or natural fresh faced looks for any occasion.

I put together my own look using the following makeup products:

  • Bobbi Brown Blush (Sand Pink) – $25
  • Benefits Cosmetics Mascara (They’re Real) – $23
  • Stila Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner (Stay All Day) – $20
  • Lancôme Color Design Eye Shadow (5 color/Golden Frenzy) – $49

Do you want to test out your own looks too? At GlamST’s Virtual Tester Center you can! If you are gaga about eyes (eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara) then test them out at GlamST’s Virtual Eye Tester. I feel that one of the most important parts of your makeup is your eye shadow and eyeliner. They say that your eyes are the window to your soul, so let others see how beautiful they can be! You can choose from Dior, Givenchy, Lancôme, and Clinique to give your eyes a dramatic look with black eyeliner over and underneath your eyes. You can make a smokey eye using black and white for a nightclub/out on the town look. If you want a more natural eye, use a brown liner above your eye only with a soft taupe or cashmere color above the eye.

Makeup enhances your own beauty, so why not let GlamST help you put your best face forward!
